Mid Week Full day Hunter Valley Wine Tour - Pickup from Hunter Valley (purchase your own lunch)

Leave the bottleshop behind and discover unique wine styles, boutique beers and gourmet cheeses. With delicious food and wine, spectacular surroundings and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, you will have all the ingredients necessary create a fabulous and unforgettable trip!

•Trips to 3 local wineries where you can sample great selections from either a boutique cellar door or one of the larger, more established vineyards

•Excite your taste buds with chocolate, coffee, turkish delight, lime, ginger and even chilli vodka (for the fearless!) at the Hunter Distillery (subject to venue availability)

•Visit the Smelly Cheese Shop where you can indulge in creamy brie’s, fettas and spiced labnas.

• Stop at the Hunter Chocolate Shop or Sabor Dessert Bar  for treats that are soooo worth the calories!

• Lunch at either Matilda Bay Brewhouse or Harrigan’s Irish Pub (enjoy a selection of both light and hearty meals to suit a variety of tastes and budgets (own expense)

• Sample local craft beers (optional – at your own expense)

•Small and intimate group tours with a maximum of 20 passengers per trip.

•All tours are personally taken by Suzanne (owner/operator) – a friendly and knowledgeable local who is committed to ensuring you have the best Hunter valley tour

•Relax with the style, comfort and sophistication of a luxury tour bus (DVD player, sound system, ducted air conditioning, apple/android charging ports at the front of the bus and onboard fridge)

Tour Details:

Available:  Mon - Fri on selected days when tours are running (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day)

Departure Locations: Departs from accommodation venues in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Broke, Nulkaba, Wollombi, Cessnock, Branxton and Maitland between 8.00am and 9.45am

Please see the special notes below if you require pickup from Mount View Road/Bimbadeen Road, Mount View.

Begin the return journey: Approx. 4.30-5pm

Duration: Full Day Tour (approx. 8 hours)

Lunch Options: Purchase your own lunch - options are available to suit a variety of tastes and budgets from $20 at the venues we visit (Matilda Bay Brewhouse or Harrigan's Irish Pub) or you can bring your own lunch

Special Notes: Vegetarian and/or Gluten free options may be available for the lunch however they are not guaranteed. The lunch venue varies from day to day and so do the meals. Your guide will inform you of the venue and meals on the day of your tour.

Unfortunately due to the extreme terrain (single lane for both travel directions, steep inclines, gravel road and repeated "hair-pin" bends) we are unable to pickup/drop-off to some addresses on Mount View Road/Bimbadeen Road, Mount View in the interests of passenger safety (specifically 749 - 1587 Mount View Road, Mount View and from 241 Bimbadeen Road, Mount View onwards). We will advise when you book whether the pickup/drop-off location you have selected is inaccessible to our bus and you could either meet us via car a few kilometres down the road from the hair-pin bends or we can issue you a refund.
